A Table Finally!

If you don’t know our adventures in selling our townhouse yet, it’s been a long haul. It’s been on the market for a year and a half. And there are certain things I’m missing. For example, a kitchen table. We have a little staged table in the kitchen but it’s uncomfortable for us to sit on and it only fits two people. Our other table was too big, so we were made to take it out. But our realtor finally decided that maybe we needed to get a slightly bigger table to stage it so it looks like there is space to eat. Yay! But since I don’t want to spend a lot of money on something that I don’t whether it’ll fit in the “new” place, I looked to Craigslist, Ebay and Ikea and finally found this set of table and chairs for $80 from Ikea. And I think it’s pretty adorable.

I mean just the thought of eating at a table again and not on the couch is pretty exciting. Especially since my parents are coming this weekend and we can actually have Easter dinner on the table. Wow! Such small things make me happy. So I think I’m going to get it this weekend with my parents. I’m very excited if you couldn’t tell.

How was your weekend? Mine was okay, did a little shopping and went to a friend’s 4 yrs son soccer game. It was fun to watch them at that age chase the ball around. Hope your day is going well!
