So you all know I dream of my “new” house and the many rooms. One of the rooms will be my office and will probably double as my hobby room. I quilt when I can get the sewing machine out, which is one of the misfortunes of selling my house right now. At least I can set the easel up and draw for class and it’s easy to take down. I dabbled in a little watercolor last night and it was kinda fun. Want to see what I came up with?

My tulip inspiration come from the yellow/red beautiful tulips I posted awhile back here. They were just so beautiful. So that was my first attempt at watercolor!
Anyways, back to hobby rooms. While I was waiting for my dear hubby finish his shopping at Home Depot this weekend, I picked up a copy of the Better Homes and Garden DIY magazine. They had some really nice hobby rooms! So I went to their website today to see what they had and I had to go Better Homes and Garden’s real website to find the best hobby rooms. My hobby room is going to double as an office and then I’ll need room for quilting, painting/drawing, and art journaling. And then lots of hidden storage space and I don’t like the appearance of clutter and disorganization. Phew! Is that actually possible?? 
So here are some great rooms I found. BTW – how awesome is that room with the chandelier! Is that me or is that me??

Lori, your watercolors turned out so good. I can’t believe you said it was your first time. Never would have believed. I have watercolors too but have not used them. I guess I don’t know what to draw. Anyway, I love those hobby rooms. There is definitely no clutter there. I wish I had more space in my apartment. Time for me to look for a house.
