Hello my ChicGeek friends!
So sorry this has been a poor week for posting. I really don’t know how time got away from me this week. It’s so hard to believe that next week is June already! I mean time was flown by! Do you have big plans for Memorial Day weekend? I don’t. I have to finish a tennis match I started tonight but got rained out after the first set. Of course its first thing in the morning and if you know me, you know I’m not a morning person. 
This is my last double’s match of the season and then soon singles will start up again. I don’t know if I was brave or completely stupid but I signed up for two singles league over the summer. Ha.
I did start my Yoga Booty Ballet this week. I really like it! It was a great mix of Yoga, Dance, Strength, Ballet and Yoga. I’m not really good at the Yoga part and I couldn’t see the tv from the floor, so that was a little hard for me. 
But I’ll get better. The easier level is 45 mins and then the next level is 60 mins.
So I might have a possibility to go to Germany in August with one of my friends for a few days! I’m super excited. She’s got to go over there for a job and asked me if I wanted to fly over and spend a few days afterwards to explore with her. Germany? Heck yeah! But now we’re just trying to find me a cheap flight and all that stupid money stuff. But if I do we’re trying to find a castle to stay in. How awesome would that be! I’ve never been in Germany but it’s on my bucket list! Well, pretty much all of Europe is and I haven’t hit that much of it yet. So exciting…..
Has anyone seen “Letters to Juliet” yet? It’s on my ‘must see’ list. It looks so cute!
Yay! “So You Think You Can Dance” is back! Definitely one of my favorite shows! It’s going to be an interesting season with the way they are doing things. And only picking 10 dancers. I really don’t know how they are going to do that! As my SIL and I were talking about – they could have picked 10 from last night – they were soooo good! Wow, it’s going to be an amazing season and we are going to see some great dances especially since one partner is always going to be good in that genre. AND Mary Murphy is not going to be there to scream every week. Phew! Also anyone watch the Bachlorette? Ali is just so cute. I really hope it works out for her but some of those guys on there are total duds. Some are cute though. Another interesting season! Okay, enough tv talk.
One of the things that was holding me back from getting the iPad was I didn’t think you could upload pictures from the camera since it didn’t have USB plug. But I was a little bored yesterday at work and decided to research it just to make sure before I ruled it out. And it turns out that there is an attachment that you plug into the iPad and then you plug your camera USB or memory card into the attachment. So awesome! That solves my dilemma. My anniversary is coming up. This might make a perfect gift. It’ll be especially nice for all the traveling I have coming up.

I’m a complete freak when it comes to So you think you can dance – LOVE IT!! And I’m with you – there were soooo many good dancers just on the first show…but I’m so excited to find out who they’re going to bring back to the show. I miss seeing the other season’s dancers 
And can I say envious?? Going to Germany sounds fantastic – I’ve never been to Europe – hoping that’ll be next on our list!!

Hi Lori, I hoped you had a great long weekend. Did you have any plans? I am very jealous that you may be going to Germany. But do take lots of pics…. I haven’t been there in so long since high school.

Sad to see my favorite guy, quirky Teddy, go last night. I’m sure he’ll be quickly replaced by a new favorite guy. I’m easily impressed when it comes to dance.

Oh my goodness!! Yes! My favorite shows! SYTYCD was so good last night!!Yeah I was sad to see him go last night too but there are some other promising guys on there. I really like Alex Wong and Billy Bell for the guys. Those two better make it through this year. None of the girls have stood out too much yet.
I love Frank and Roberto for Ali!! I don’t even know why she keeps the other guys around. Send them home and keep Frank and Roberto. They’re both so cute for her!
