While I was browsing through Canadian House and Home the other night, I came across this fabulous photographer, Janis Nicolay. I went to her site and looked at her portfolio and loved it! So I emailed her to see if I would be able to her use images in a blog post. She replied back within a few hours! She was so warm and bubbly and just so nice. Should I also mention that she’s on holiday in Australia right now? Jealous. Please check out her site and I discovered that she has a blog of her own here. Here are some of the photos from her portfolio from her site as well as ones I found on Canadian House and Home.
About Me
Hello and welcome to my blog! I am the ChicGeek or as I'm otherwise known as, Lori. I currently live and work in Atlanta, GA. I call myself the ChicGeek because I am an IT professional but I'm also obsessed with interior design and general chicness. I just started going back to school to get a diploma for Interior Design. While I'm not working, studying or blogging, I enjoy to travel and take pictures. All these things I want to share with you in my blog. So I hope you take some time to enjoy these things with me!

thanks for sharing. this is a great find. i love her open spaces and uncluttered, unpretencious feel in all her work. her blog is great too. also, your blog looks beautiful too btw. im inspired!
Thank you. I was very excited to find her work but then even more excited to see how quickly she responded and how nice she was when she did respond. i love open and uncluttered spaces, so that’s probably why i was drawn to them….. Thank you again. I’m honored that you’re inspired by my blog considering how nice yours is. I was just getting a little discouraged this morning wondering if anyone actually read my blog. So that was really nice to hear. Thank you.
Thanks so much Lori! What a lovely post. I just returned from Australia…I kind of miss that sun!
I’m glad you liked it!
… I bet you do! A slight change of weather I’m sure.
[...] And an extra bonus, the photos were taken by Janis Nicolay, who I love too. And if you missed my blog post on her, check it out here. [...]
