Small space dining

Since it appears that we might be staying in our house a little longer and it won’t have to be staged, I’m trying to find a nice small (but yet cheaper) to put in our kitchen. I miss having a table. Which is odd because we didn’t eat it on it all that much, but it was nice to have so we could. Especially when we had company therefore it would need to seat at least four. Here are a few options that I have come across for small space dining.

This table from Ikea can be big enough for four, but folds down to save space.

If the Ikea table didn’t fold down small enough, check out this option from Crate and Barrel! It’s called the Span Gateleg table.

Here’s another option from Ikea. The Fushion table. While I don’t see it in my kitchen, I do like the look of it.

Here’s another extension table that I like. While it might be a little too traditional for my decor it does remind me of one my grandmother had at her lake cottage. It was a different wood and much more worn but when I think of pedestal tables, I think of her playing solitaire at the lake. Funny how things can trigger different memories.

This last one from Overstock is the one I see, out of all of them, in my own kitchen. It’s very similiar to the first Ikea one, so I might have to check that one out in person. I like the color and the chairs with this one. So we’ll see what the search brings!

What do you think? Do you have a solution for me?

Until tomorrow!
