Weekend Photos

Hey my ChicGeek friends,

Did you have a good weekend? I did. Ran errands and then my husband surprised me with our anniversary plans on Saturday night. We went to a place called the SunDial restaurant for dinner and then the High Museum of Art afterwards. The SunDial restaurant was awesome – we had never been but it’s on the 72nd floor of the hotel and overlooks Atlanta and it slowly spins so you can get a 360 degree view of the city. So pretty! I’m glad it wasn’t overcast at all. Here are a couple pics of Atlanta that I snapped:

At the High Museum of Art, they were having a special ‘Design at Dark’ exhibition and then they had their special car exhibit open too. During the Design at Dark exhibition they had a ‘fashion show’ where they had two models show off all the new line of bowls from the Netherlands. It was a good show as they wore the bowls upside down on their head and ‘danced’ to a different song down the ‘runway’ each time. Here’s a few shots. I’m bummed I didn’t bring my external flash as the pictures would have been lots better:

And then of course the cars. Maybe this is the real reason my husband brought us here. icon wink Weekend Photos I had to have my picture taken with this car because it’s Pittsburgh Steelers colors and it has the Eiffel Tower in the back!

Okay, so in the midst of all these cars and barriers, my husband is admiring one of the cars and I look at the reflection in the window and it’s a chandelier. I had to lean over the barrier to glance up and look at it. (Against the rules of course! icon wink Weekend Photos ) Saw that it was a black and beautiful chandelier. And made my husband, to his disbelief that I would find the only chandelier amongst all the cars, take a picture.

Isn’t it beautiful? I wish I could have seen it better. Sigh.

Anyways, that was most of our excitement for the weekend. I have more but I’ll save it for later in the week. icon smile Weekend Photos

Thank you all so much!!! We had so much fun and my husband surprised me with dinner and the High, so that made it even more special that he thought about what I wanted and to do and planned it all. :-)
